BOOK REVIEW: DAUGHTERS OF ARABIA BY JEAN SASSON (SECOND PART OF THE PRINCESS TRILOGY) About the Author:  Jean Sasson is an American writer who is famous for her books written on the lives of women in the Middle East. She travelled to Saudi Arabia in 1978 where she met many women whose lives inspired her to write books about them. As I’ve mentioned a lot of times in my blog posts and in the book reviews on my Instagram feed, Jean Sasson is one of my favourite authors and this is the fifth book I read written by the author. About the Book:  Daughters of Arabia is the second book written by Jean Sasson in the series of The Princess Trilogy which describes the life of Princess Sultana who was one of the many princesses of the royal family of Saudi Arabia. BOOK REVIEW: THE GREAT GATSBY BY F. SCOTT FITZGERALD About the Author: F. Scott Fitzgerald was an American fiction writer who lived from 1986-1940. He published four novels and many short stories during his time and is regarded as one the greatest American writers of the 20 th century. A number of biographies have also been published on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s life. About the Book: The Great Gatsby was first published in 1925 in America and is regarded as one of the most famous books of all time. It revolves around the mysterious life of a millionaire named Jay Gatsby and his love for his long lost lover, Daisy. The story is narrated by Nick Carraway who is Gatsby’s neighbour and he unfolds the story of Jay Gatsby and his obsession with Daisy. The villain of the story is Tom Buchanan, who is Daisy’s husband.
