About the Author:   Salini Vineeth is a Kindle author who has published two of her books on Amazon Kindle. Her first book was Magic Square while her second book is Hampi: History and Architecture . It is a story about a Ph.D. scholar named Amudha who discovers a Mathematics book which contains all her research questions and their answers written by someone. The only clue which helps her to track the owner is a Tamil poem which is written on the last page of the book by the owner. About the Author:  Rohinton Mistry is an Indian born Canadian writer and novelist who belonged to a Parsi family in Bombay and immigrated to Toronto in 1975. While studying in Toronto, he published two short stories in a Canadian Magazine for which he won a number of awards. He went forward and published his first book- Tales from Firozsha Baag in 1987. Since then, Rohinton Mistry has been a successful novelist who is known for his famous works like A Fine Balance , Family Matters , etc. and has also won a number of awards for the same. Since the time I started reading, I’ve read quite a large number of books and many of them have been books written by Indian authors. When I pick up a book to read, the only thing which I pay attention to is that whether the book sounds interesting to me. I am not someone who is much into reading famous books and that is why there are many famous books written by Indian authors which I still haven’t read. This list of books which are written by Indian authors and which I absolutely loved is not any genre specific. Though, you guys may find out that maximum of these books are based on Indian mythology since it’s a genre which interests me a lot and it gives me a reason to pick up books written by Indian authors. About the Author: Saadat Hasan Manto was born in 1912 in Ludhiana and was a famous story teller, play writer and essay writer. REVIEW: THE SURFACE BREAKS- A REIMAGINING OF THE LITTLE MERMAID About the Author:   Louise O’Neill is an Irish writer. She is generally famous for writing young adult novels. She has written five books till date and her first book was published in 2014. She has also won a number of awards and is known to focus on feminist issues through her stories. The Surface Breaks is the fifth and the latest book written by the author and I have no doubt in accepting the fact that her way of writing is just wonderful. About the Book: The Surface Breaks is a reimagining of the book- The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen and has been published in 2018 itself. It’s a more feminist retelling of the famous fairy tale. It’s the story of the mermaid princess named Gaia who lives in the water kingdom in the Atlantic Ocean. She is described as a mermaid who suffers under the rule of her father and is subjected to a number of rules and regulations just because of being a female.

Review: 16 th National Book Fair, Lucknow About the Fair:  The National Book Fair is organised every year in Lucknow, UP for a period of ten days during September end. This is the 16 th year in a row when this fair has been organised. It started on 28 th September and has been organised by Mr. Manoj Chandel this time. This year, the Book Fair is dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi on account of his 150 th birth anniversary, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and poet Gopal Das Neeraj.
